Man is a soul dwelling in a container (body) kept alive by a life-giving force (spirit). So, as the brain is to the body, so is the mind (heart) to the soul. What is formed and retained in the heart can be thoughts, ideas, innovation, invention, imagination, etc. The heart itself has the power to generate or/and process thoughts, ideas, innovation, invention, imagination, etc. The thoughts, ideas, innovation, invention, imagination, etc of man comes from his mind. The heart is a free moral agent - it forms and retains whatever it likes and however it likes. If the heart is allowed to continue to work on what it forms and holds, it becomes an opinion or action.
