EVERY VALLEY SHALL BE EXALTED I

"Every valley shall be exalted And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough places smooth;" Isaiah 40:4 (NKJV) A valley signifies level lower than normal terrain. A  journey into the valley signifies going down in life. Journey into the valley is easier because it requires little or no energy. There is a force that supports a fall -- it's the force that pulls down. This force combines with the steepness of the valley. So, the journey into the valley is always quick and easy. That's why it's easy to fall. *Every force pulling me down into the valley of life, release me now by fire in the name of Jesus Christ *Mercy of the Lord, terminate my journey into the valley in the name of Jesus Christ *Internal altars keeping me down in the valley,  melt by fire in the name of Jesus Christ. Journey into the valley could be prompted by: - unnecessary curiosity - covetousness - laziness: "I cannot do it." "This

EFFICACY OF THE WORD Part 1

EFFICACY OF THE WORD "...SPEAK to the rock before their eyes, AND IT WILL YIELD its water;" Numbers 20:8 (NKJV) I know this rock is hard. I know it has water in it. I am thirsty and so are my herd. Using manual effort to break the rock to reach where water is in it, is a great, tedious and time-consuming job. With the tools I can afford, it is even an impossible feat to achieve. I don't have the equipment, the expertise and the strength to get this water out. And I am very thirsty.  I think I need an intervention beyond my human strength -- an intervention like a boring tractor; or a dynamite to get water out of this rock. I turn to the Lord in prayer, and HE said, "SPEAK to the rock AND IT WILL YIELD its water." I disregard and discard what God is saying and I begin to reason it within me; what I need is a huge boring tractor or a dynamite to bring out water (of fulfilment, peace of mind, good success in all my ventures, promotion, holy living, ma

MY DRY ROD SHALL BLOSSOM AND YIELD ALMONDS

6 So Moses spoke to the children of Israel, and each of their leaders gave him a rod apiece, for each leader according to their fathers’ houses, twelve rods; and the rod of Aaron was among their rods. 7 And Moses placed the rods before the Lord in the tabernacle of witness. 8 Now it came to pass on the next day that Moses went into the tabernacle of witness, and behold, the rod of Aaron, of the house of Levi, had sprou ted and put forth buds, had produced blossoms and yielded ripe almonds Numbers 17:6-8 (NKJV) Aaron's rod was a shepherd's staff. A shepherd's rod was a peeled, sun-dried stick, used over a long time. It's an instrument of work meant to drive herds, help him to climb hills and support him when weak or tired. It is a dead rod which could by no chance ever be able to come to life and bud again. Yet this one budded. Because the Sovereign God wanted to prove a point in the life of Aaron, He bypassed and suspended the laws of nature -- and the law
