The being
of man consists of spirit, soul and body. Man is a soul dwelling in a container
(body) kept alive by a life-giving force (spirit). So, as the brain is to the
body, so is the mind (heart) to the soul.
What is
formed and retained in the heart can be thoughts, ideas, innovation, invention,
imagination, etc. The heart itself has the power to generate or/and process thoughts,
ideas, innovation, invention, imagination, etc.
The thoughts,
ideas, innovation, invention, imagination, etc of man comes from his mind. The
heart is a free moral agent - it forms and retains whatever it likes and
however it likes. If the heart is allowed to continue to work on what it forms
and holds, it becomes an opinion or action. Jer_17:9
“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for

Everyone,
has the power to determine what his/her heart forms and holds. Also, everyone
has the power to stop what is formed in the heart and gives the heart another
thing. Or the heart owner could allow it to continue working as it likes. 1Co_10:12
If such
opinion is continued it becomes a personality. And if such action is
continuous, it becomes a habit.
A man
becomes what he keeps thinking. Pro_23:7

The Mind Connections
a. There is
a connection between WHAT THE HEART THINKS OFTEN and WHAT HAPPENS to man.
b. There is
a connection between WHAT THE HEART THINKS OFTEN and MAN'S DESTINY ultimately.
c. The
connection of WHAT THE HEART KEEPS THINKING and WHAT THE MOUTH KEEP SAYING,
produces a circumstance, an event or a testimony.
d. When
there is NO CONNECTION BETWEEN WHAT THE HEART KEEPS THINKING and WHAT THE MOUTH
KEEP SAYING, prayer has no potency to be effectual
e. When the
heart ignores what God can do but connects to what happens around, it is called
a CARNAL MIND.
f. When the
heart ignores what happens around and connects to what God can do, it is called
a SPIRITUAL MIND. 1Sa 17:45-49. A
spiritual mind wins all battles.
g. When the
heart to the written word, it becomes the living word. The living word gives
life to anything dead in the life of the heart owner.
The heart
is just a fraction of your entire being. So, you can control it. Don't let it
control you.
